Types of Listings
Yes, absolutely! We encourage the addition of metal detecting clubs and nonprofit groups to the directory. These organizations are essential for helping new detectorists learn local laws, ethical digging practices, and proper recovery techniques. Clubs also promote community, education, and responsible detecting. There is a dedicated category just for metal detecting clubs, making it easy for users to find and connect with groups in their area.

Claiming a Listing
If your metal detecting-related business, club, or organization is already listed in our directory, you can easily claim your listing to update your information and manage your profile. Simply go to your listing page and look for the box on the right-hand side that says “Claim Me – Work Here? Claim this page for your business.” Click on “Learn More” and follow the steps to verify and gain control of your listing.
Update My Listing
If you have a paid listing in the metal detecting directory, you can log in here to update your business or club profile, add photos, change contact information, and manage your listing details. You can also find the login link at the bottom of the website footer under the section labeled “Update Listing.”
If you are not the owner or have not paid for the listing but see your metal detecting business or organization already listed, you’ll need to claim the listing first. Visit the listing page and click the “Claim Me – Work Here?” box to begin the verification process.
Discounts
We understand the value of free listings and do our best to offer them when possible. However, the cost of maintaining a high-quality, content-rich directory—including writing original articles, managing high-resolution metal detecting photos, maintaining secure servers, and updating listings—is significant.
That said, we occasionally offer discounts and coupon codes for special occasions or promotions. These offers are limited and may be available during holidays, events, or seasonal campaigns. Be sure to check our website or join our mailing list to stay updated on any current metal detecting listing discounts or promo codes.
There could be two reasons why. The coupon code could have expired. Or you didn’t enter it correctly. Note you must have the right case; it is case sensitive.
Payments
Currently, we only accept PayPal as electronic payment. If you do not have PayPal. We can arrange for you to send us a check in USD funds, cash, or money order.
